About the Mertens

Brett and LeighAnn were married July 19th, 2008, but they became the SoCal Mertens' in August 2009 transitioning to the Mo-Town Mertens' in June 2016. They met each other while going to school at Concordia University in Seward, NE. Who knew we would fall in love and the rest would be history. Years later we're living our {true} dream in Montorse, Colorado... Our beautiful lil' miss emmery lo joined our family 6.1.2014 & our handsome Mr. Trenton TD {aka Truck} joined us 04.27.2016. Three weeks after Truck was born he was diagnosed with Cystic Fibrosis, not the path we would have chosen for him, but God has blessed us with choosing us as his parents. We hope to give you a glimpse into our lives through pictures and stories, emotions, and words revealed on this page. This blog allows you to follow along and travel with us through this journey we call life; our life together with each other.

We might not have it all together... but together we have it all.
