6.07.2016

So, yes I wanted to updated more
regularly,
But
with moving out of our house on
Saturday,
{6.4.16}
{another post for another day}
It’s been a little
c.r.a.z.y.
both kiddos are napping in separate rooms
{woot woot}
I thought I would update on
Truck.
Rewind three weeks,
Truck had his first
‘procedure done’
a sweat test
{to confirm CF}
Which was already confirmed through genetic testing,
but is a requirement of health care.
He was a trooper!
Since no needles were involved
it wasn’t that hard.
 However, my heart did ache.
When I walked into the lab of Children’s hospital.
This is a new normal.
Walking into hospitals.
Not to visit friends who have had babies,
But actually taking my own baby
for labs
appointments
&
possibly overnight stays.
We had our second clinic appointment
we learned about
chest physical therapy
{a.k.a CPT}
Nebulizers
&
More about our new ‘home base” in
Colorado.
God never seems to amaze us.
as we feel so loved, and supported
not only by our friends & family,
but a family in Colorado
{our care team}
That we've never met
but seems to already love and care for
TD.
The CF community is a small one.
Only about 30,000 people in the US have
CF
We feel that the care teams
actually care not only for us,
but about us.
Trenton has been doing
g.r.e.a.t
He’s a trooper.
he has enzymes he has to take
{with applesauce- gasp!—this is another post!}
daily salt in take
CPT
&
vitamins.
Lil’ miss emmery lo has been a
rockstar big sister
sometimes wanting to help with CPT
helping out with diapers
&
loving
Truck.
she even has been tested for CF
which we know now she is a
carrier of
deltaf508.
in less than a week
we’re heading out east
to start a new journey,
God has planned.
