I might only blog 10 4 times a year.

But I will not miss my yearly blog about

the previous year.

So many changes.

In no particular order but here are 10 things that topped

The {now} MoTown Mertens Year.

{however there were many more}

1.     “Truck” Trenton TD Mertens  -- joined our family 04.27.16

&

being baptized into God’s Family 05.15.16

{okay this one does top the list}

2.     New Adventures: 

 Moving from SoCal {California} to MoTown Colorado

in June we packed up and headed east…

3 adults, 2 kids {one 6 week old & 2 year old}, & 1 dog

all in a Rav4

&

 new jobs

3.     Truck being diagnosed with CF {Cystic Fibrosis}

 this truly has been a blessing & has taught us more than we know about

Faith.

Family.

Life.

4.     1^st Football season as Indians

 nothing better than ‘Friday Night Lights’

5.     Broncos winning the Superbowl

{as funny as it sounds... it is a BIG deal}

Emmery was born the year the Broncos got DESTOYED

{which is why we did not have to name her Peyton}

Truck was born the year the Broncos WON!

{which is just awesome}

6.     Emmery Lo’s first trip to Disneyland!

{this special girl had her 'becca' take her}

7.     Growth of our Framily

{the newest member Joella Joy 12.21.16}

8.     Colorado Visitors

 {emmery's becca!}

9.     New Races & PR’s

 {county fair 5k}

 {1st colorado half marathon}

{Turkey Trot}

10.  Emmery starting Gymnastics

 {this tops the list is because she's just awesome}

 I'm so excited to see what is in store for
